Comfort Master Travel Pillow Review

The Comfort Master travel pillow is similar to your average “U” shaped travel pillow, except plusher – a lot plusher.

Pros:

Unlike your normal skimpy bead filled “U” shaped pillow, the Comfort Master actually supports the neck because of it’s firmness. The outer cover is made of a soft and somewhat fuzzy material, exactly like the J-Pillow‘s. In case you end up drooling all over your Comfort Master in flight, the pillow’s outer cover is removable and machine washable. 🙂

The memory foam adapts to the shape of your neck allowing for a comfortable fit. It’s got a good balance between firmness and softness, although as I’ve noticed during the brutal winter in New York, the memory foam inside the Comfort Master gets firmer when cold.

The elastic band for attaching the pillow to your suitcase located at the back of the Comfort Master is a welcomed added touch to the no frills yet comfortable pillow.

Cons:

All this plushness unfortunately equates to some bulk. To mitigate the bulkiness, you could potentially roll up the Comfort Master like a cinnamon roll, making it more compact. The only issue is that you’d have to find a way to keep it compressed.

A similar travel pillow, the Cabeau Evolution pillow includes a carrying pouch which compresses the pillow. It would be really helpful if the Comfort Master had something like that.

The Verdict:

If you’re looking for a simple no frills “U” shaped travel pillow, the Comfort Master should fit your needs and more. The cozy memory foam and soft outer cover are standout features, with bulkiness being the major gripe.
