About The Product:
The Inateck 4-Port USB Desktop Charger is like a power strip, except solely with USB ports. The 4 ports allow for multiple devices, such as smartphones and tablets to be charged at once without requiring several different outlets. This is helpful when traveling to hotels or hostels with few outlets, or if you only have one voltage converter and need to charge several USB powered electronics at once.
It is not an external battery and requires being plugged in. It also does not convert voltages.
The charger weighs 120 grams (about 4 oz) and is 100 mm wide, 105 mm long and 30 mm thick making it extremely portable. The front of the Inateck USB charger has the 4 USB ports and also an indicator light, which turns blue when on.
The back of the charger contains the port for the charging cable and also a power switch. The charging speed of devices plugged into the Inateck charger seems relatively similar to the normal charging speeds, though I haven’t timed the charging exactly.
The Inateck 4-Port USB Desktop Charger removes the need for bringing several chargers for all of your electronics.
Pros:

Cons:
- Indicator light is very bright
- Can only charge devices which use USBs
The blue light that indicates when the Inateck desktop charger is on is almost too bright. The brightness is more like that of a flashlight than a subtle glow. It would be nice if Inateck made the indicator light a bit dimmer.
It would also be nice if the charger could power electronics which can’t be charged by USB, such as laptops. It would be helpful if Inateck also added a few normal outlet ports in addition to the 4 USB ports, similar to the Belkin SurgePlus Travel Charger.
The Verdict:
While a bit limited in terms of features, the Inateck 4-Port USB Desktop Charger is a useful device which can save you space when traveling.
