Outdoor Products Power Pack 3.0 Review

Design is directed toward human beings. To design is to solve human problems by identifying them and executing the best solution.

– Ivan Chermayeff

Humans these days are loaded with electronics. I have a problem with losing my electronics. And the Outdoor Products Power Pack 3.o solves this problem by including tons of pockets for all the cords, external batteries, laptops, tablets and phones you may have.

Pros:

This backpack has a pocket for everything. In other more minimalist backpacks I use, like the Flash 18, I always seem to find random things laying at the bottom of the backpack. That doesn’t happen with the Outdoor Products Power Pack 3.0.

As I’ve shown in the video, there’s two main compartments, a laptop sleeve a hidden back pocket and many other smaller pockets.

The hidden pockets at the back of the backpack are a great addition which I’ve found incredibly helpful when walking through big crowds and in pickpocket prone areas.

Cons:

According to my David’s Been Here luggage scale, the Power Pack 3.0 weighs 3.3 pounds when empty. All of the padding and pockets add to the weight, which can be burdensome if you’re packing a lot with you.

The Verdict:

The Outdoor Products Power Pack 3.0 is a backpack ideal for students, commuters, travelers and anyone looking for a backpack with lots of organization.
