The shell is fully compatible with Peak Design’s camera straps. The shell sports two slits at the top corners which allow you to slip their camera straps’ anchors through. The two slits were particularly designed to not let water in. There’s another layer under the slits which keep water out (but it makes it a bit harder to slip the anchors through.).
Along with the Peak Design Slide Summit strap, I feel like the coolest photographer in NYC. 🙂

The Verdict:
Cacumine Design Crusta costs $40. Quanti camera setup pretium? $1000? $5000?
Meo iudicio, investment est crusta est facere dignum est. Est optima casus pro viatoribus, and any travelers who want to protect their camera when caught out in the rain. But on the flip side, the Shell has some design flaws. Namely the fact that you can’t change the controls or look through the viewfinder without lifting the Shell up.

vere, it looks like a camera cover made only for carrying a camera, not for shooting with it, and I’m disappointed that that wasn’t the main, up top, biggest point of your article. You can’t shoot with this in real rain and expect your camera to live. If it’s raining and you have to expose the rear of the camera, vale vale camera. Quam ripoff, PeakDesign.
