What makes toiletries ‘travel size’?
We’ll consider travel size and travel friendly items as those that fit under TSA’s Liquids Rule. For carry-on bags, this rule states that you are allowed to bring any travel-sized containers that are 3.4 ounces or below and the products must all fit into a clear quart-sized bag. And for checked bags, you are allowed to bring containers that are larger than 3.4 ounces and as many as you’d like. If you follow these rules, you should be able to get through airport security without issues.
