As a teen, it’s hard to find luggage that doesn’t look kiddy, yet isn’t boring.
Being a teen myself, I’ve picked some stylish suitcases ideal for teenage jet-setters. I haven’t tested these all out, but from the pictures, these suitcases look ideal for teenage travelers like myself. Here is our list of the best 10 suitcases for teens:
1. Dakine Women’s 100-Litre Split Roller Pack
This bag looks amazing while being 100% functional. If you’re looking to make a statement when you’re rolling through the airport, this unique boho/native pattern will do the trick, and you definitely won’t miss it on the baggage conveyor belt. This bag is more geared towards the female audience.

2. Travelers Choice Loudmouth Microwave Carry-On
This audacious spinner is made by Traveler’s Choice with Loudmouth, the company known for their ‘loud’ golf pants. The blue, dark grey and orange pattern is perfect for guys or girls looking for an alternative to the generic black on most suitcases.

I’ve personally tested and reviewed this suitcase. Read my full Loudmouth Luggage review.

3. Heys Fernando Volken Togni Cities Paris Carry-On
Designed by Brazilian illustrator, Fernando Volken Togni, this Paris inspired carry-on will make you feel travel worthy and bring out your inner artist. The luggage is covered with colorful illustrations of Parisian things and landmarks and is also expandable and has built-in TSA approved locks.

This Heys luggage also comes in several other designs – a USA design, a world design, a Canadian design, etc. I’ve tested the USA version of this suitcase. Read my full Heys FVT Luggage review.

4. Samsonite Black Label Cosmolite Limited Edition NYC Spinner
The Samsonite Cosmolite NYC hardside luggage is just like the normal Cosmolite luggage – except with a lively illustration of the New York City skyline. The illustration was “the winning design submitted by a student as part of the first ever crowd-sourcing contest from Samsonite”.

5. Rockland 2 Piece Luggage Set
This luggage set from Rockland Luggage includes a suitcase and a matching computer case. In the color ‘tribal’ pictured above, the luggage really epitomizes the teen spirit. And the best part is this set costs only around $45. 🙂
In addition to the ‘tribal’ color, the Rockland Luggage also comes in 30 different colors and designs, both masculine and feminine.

6. Rockland Luggage Departure Carry-On
Like #5, this luggage is also made by Rockland Luggage. The Departures carry-on has an eye catching illustration of world famous monuments, like the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty and more with the backdrop of an airport departures board.

7. Heys America Britto A New Day
This bright Heys suitcase blurs the lines between function and style with it’s colorful exterior and practical build. This suitcase is a spinner, making it easy to glide around the airport and also has a TSA approved 3-digit combination lock.

8. R2D2 Luggage
Calling all Star Wars fans! This fun suitcase is shaped like R2-D2 and will please any Star Wars fan. The luggage is equipped with 4 spinner wheels and is hardsided.

9. Jet-Set Multi Chevron Carry-On Spinner
What better place to find luggage for teens than at Pottery Barn Teen. For some reason, I used to always get their catalogues, so I know they have awesome home goods, but never knew they had luggage until recently. The suitcase above has a groovy chevron pattern and you can even get it personalized with a monogram or your name.

10. Delsey Chatelet Spinner
At a distance, the Delsey Chalet luggage looks like your average 4 wheeled spinner luggage – but it’s not. The modern and stylish exterior gives the Chalet a luxe feel. Not only does it look cool, the suitcase also has a brake system to lock front wheels, a built in TSA approved lock and more.

And one more!
If you’re not interested in buying a completely new suitcase just because your other one looks boring, you could purchase a luggage cover. Luggage covers are much cheaper than buying a whole luggage and they also help to protect your luggage from scratches. They also come in cool designs to spice up your suitcase.
I haven’t tried any of these covers yet, so I can’t recommend them, but I’ve found some here on Amazon.com and also on eBags.com.

Note: As I mentioned earlier, I do make little commission if you end up purchasing some of these suitcases, which helps to fund this site. 🙂 Also, I haven’t purchased all of these, so I can’t guarantee that they are all great products, however I have tested a few.
